Our teachers create custom lessons and activities based on the individuals and group they are currently teaching. Specific lessons may last a few days, a few weeks, or a few months depending on how long the children’s interests last, or how quickly they are able to master the lessons.
We believe in modeling and encouraging behaviors we want to see, rather than simply correcting behaviors we don’t want to see. By demonstrating respect to children, even infants, they learn to respect others in the same way. By talking them through situations, helping them put emotions into words, and mediating conversations between peers, we can set foundations for solid, positive communication while also creating a safe environment where they are free to express themselves and ask questions.
Children are offered the chance to participate in a wide variety of age and developmentally-appropriate activities. These include art, sensory play, music, science, dramatic play, math, reading readiness, fine and gross motor, and language development activities.

Our pre-kindergarten program leaves children confident, excited, and ready to enter kindergarten! At this age, our teachers work to advance literacy, vocabulary, math, problem solving and fine and gross motor skills. Teachers assist in working to stimulate your child’s love of learning while strengthening social skills.
toddlers
At this stage, children are exploring the world around them and testing their own physical abilities. We provide the right toys and supervision to ensure their experience is both fun and safe. In our toddler class we work on language development, sensory stimulation, circle time, emotional skills, and both indoor and outdoor play.
Young Preschool
The curriculum for the younger preschool class is designed for curious minds and active little bodies. At this age, children need secure environments and stimulating experiences. Our teachers engage and work hands on with your child on arts and crafts, imaginative play, language, and counting.
Preschool
Preschool aged kids are active, inquisitive and love exploring the world around them. This class is designed to be tons of fun, while helping your child develop the skills to excel throughout life. Our curriculum includes collaborative dramatic play, physical activity, reading, math and science.
Pre-K

school age
In addition to our preschool aged groups, we provide before and after school care to elementary school aged children. Kids are served a healthy breakfast before being dropped off at school each day. Once picked up, we bring them back to Fuzzy Bear for an after school snack, a daily wind-down from school, and we even offer homework help.
We provide care for this age group during school closings as well. We are here for you during summer, fall, winter, and spring break every year.
NEW: Due to the uncertain nature of returning to school, we are excited to announce that we are offering E-learning assistance to all children who need to attend during regular school hours.
